Logo Designing Tutorials

I was thinking about starting a new series of posts aimed to help those who don’t know a thing about logo designing/editing. I am well aware about federations who do logos for supporters, however, I thought to give the opportunity non-supporters have their own logo, as well as giving those who have a supporter package to learn some tips & tricks to design their own logo themselves.

Should I start these series of tutorials I will be using Photoshop to show you steps (you can follow through using free applications such as Gimp), and although I am not a professional editor, since I do this merely as a hobby, I am quite sure that I can offer you a great insight with logo editing, and in the future maybe even manage to do your own logo on Hattrick.

I would appreciate any comments about this idea. Let me know what you think!

Sylvester Volden firing a brace on his debut

The newly bought striker had a fantastic 90 minutes to kick-start his first team experience, when he netted twice for D Scorers, contributing to a 0-8 win over pink rangers. As the season nears its end we’ll be aiming to seal a victory over Munchen FC in the final match of the season, in 2 weeks time. This game will most probably be the deciding game of the IV.26 Series champion & with a goal difference deficit of 12 goals behind Munchen, it will most certainly be a hard task to accomplish. However, we are adamant that with the addition of Volden, we will hopefully succeed.

5-star performance by Gerald Arrigo cruise D Scorers’ sub-team to victory

In tonight’s encounter, young striker Gerald Arrigo, netted the ball 5 times during the game. While Casmiro Sarmento, Gużi Incorvaia, Malcolm Bonavia, & Raymond Sullivan all had their own share in front of the goal, Arrigo had a spectacular performance that drove the D Scorers, where mostly players from our youth system featured, to a 9-0 victory at home against pink rangers. With another 3 points added, we now sit in 3rd place, & although we have some of the finest talent in the series, we are on the lookout for a fresh new talent. With performances like these, and others alike, we are looking to compensate for the horrendous form of last season, and return to the III series as soon as possible.

We’re still walking on thin ice

After long weeks in a drought of wins, we have managed to claim another win, against Valletta FC147. Tonight’s 3 points puts a pinch of hope of avoiding the automatic-relegation, because of the fact that some tough matches await us. Nonetheless the team will be prepared to give their utmost, and with the help of our fans who are always behind our backs, we’ll be closer to achieving this goal.

The rainbow always appears after the rain

A press conference was initiated today after 2 weeks of the season’s end. The departure of the scoring great Danilo Roberto & the keeping great Radu-Vasile Huţu were announced, after their desire for a change of club.
Pablo Gotor, the head coach of D Scorers, began by apologizing with the angry fans, even though he & the rest of the team did their utmost, while reminding everyone that they are only human after all. “I have been contemplating about my future of my job for the following weeks,” he continued, “& after a horrible season, I have finally decided to depart and set the stage for Sean Tonna to succeed me.”
The veteran midfielder talked about the wonderful experience he had playing amongst several D Scorers star players, & is also very thrilled at his new experience at the same club. He also reminded fans that Pablo Gotor was the man in charge of the IV-to-III promotion & the III.5 series win amongst other successful seasons. “This is why I will keep him as my right hand of reference, till I am done with playing for good & dedicate the rest of my career coaching at D Scorers.”
Sean Tonna closed the afternoon by metaphorically highlighting: “the rainbow always appears after the rain, & I assure you that this storm will end soon!”

The New “III Victory” Stand in Scorie Arena packed

Last night’s match was a goal festival by D Scorers against Selmun Hornets, which gave the supporters in the newly constructed stand in Scorie Arena, the III Victory Stand, plenty to cheer to the 6 goals scored. Chekhovskiy‘s 4 goals & Roselli‘s brace made a spectacular night to see us in first place of the lII.5 series. We’ll be strong to try & contain this position & be an even stronger side than that of last season.

Scorie Arena upgrade

Following an end to a great season, we have inaugurated an expansion project, believed to cost around €1M, on the Scorie Arena. This initiative has been taken in order to, firstly commemorate the victory in III.5 series as well as thanking all the loyal fans out there who were always behind the team. Moreover, we aren’t expected to extend our squad externally, but can assure that there are other projects on our minds. Momentarily the first team players will be rested as we seek an even more successful season.

XV Champions of III.5

The title race is over! D Scorers are crowned III.5 Champions after tonight’s 0-4 win. After finishing below the likes of Xzibit city F.c, Bolivian Stripes, & Xpaks XI last season, we have topped all of these teams to triumph in these Series after only 3 seasons in this division. Our job is not yet done, however, as we seek to get the most of our last game to try and clinch an automatic promotion. Despite our healthy goal difference, it is somewhat difficult, as we have to depend on other clubs’ loss.

This may be our year!

After finishing 4th place in both our first 2 seasons in III.5, we are now currently in pole position with a 2-point advantage & a 25-goal difference to back us. The league isn’t over yet though, there are still 3 games to be played, and we will face the thoughest test. Our last fixtures are against 3rd placed Bolivian Stars, 4th placed Xzibit city F.c, & 2nd placed Xpaks XI, and it is extremely important for us to acquire 3 points from each match to be crowned champions. With the squad’s current form, and our determination, we will undoubtly succeed.

Chekhovskiy’s late hattrick wins us another 3 points

Tonight was indeed an exiting encouter against Bastjaniz, as after opening the score, shortly after yet another midfielder got injured, we conceded 2 goals in a few minutes. We kept trailing with the 1-2 score for almost the entire game. That was until Alexander Chekhovskiy found the net 3 times in the closing 10 minutes of the game, to finalize the score to a great 4-2 win, and stay in our current 2nd place in III.5.
