Horus Falcons – FC Prague Slivers 1:6

Our team dominated Prague and third time we will play in final.

In semifinal we played with the next Prague club Horus Falcons and it was they who had the first chance which finished to goal. But It was all for them. Since then we have taken the initiative. After first goal passed only 4 minutes when we had free kick. Nand Augustyns didn’t give to goalkeeper any chance. After the next 3 minutes Falcon’s defenders did fatal mistake and Francisco Barrutieta thanked them for the one of the easiest goal in his career. But It wasn’t all. After two minutes Karel Koumar added a third goal for our club. So the first half finished 3:1 for us. Ball possession 61% : 39%.

As we finished the first half we started the second. Only 3 minutes were enough to Nand Augustyns who scored his second goal in match. Away team didn’t know where to play. Our guys were everywhere. The score was raised by the most talented player Otakar Coufalík when he had lucky because away defenders didn’t stop him and so he went to alone to goalkeeper whom he did a loop and scored to empty net. The last word had again Karel Koumar who closed this match by second goal in match and final score 6:1. Ball possession 60% : 40%.

How did you look forward to the derby?
Horus70: I was really looking forward to my first Prague fed derby – the first time I played another Czech team from the fed! I still want to play with FK Chomutov and FCOB Kamenice once!
Ballinho: This is our the second derby n this tournament. The first we played with FCOB Kamenice. This match finished 3:3 so we hoped that the second derby will be victorious. I think that It is holiday for all Prague.

Did you have some motivation?
Horus70: Not to lose too badly – wishful thinking as it turned out given the final result. Looking at your stats from other tournament games, I really did not see how I could not lose, so it was all about damage control
Ballinho: Yes, who would not. Derby is very prestigious match because everybody are talking about this match.

What do you say about the final result?
Horus70: I was surprised that I actually scored, given the difference in possession in general. I think it reflects the current state of both our teams. It is also very interesting because it shows me how I fare against a top team in division V – which my team joined for the very first time this season.
Ballinho: Final result is very nice for us. 6:1 is very high final result but for Filip (Horus70 )is very bad. But Falcons team is very good. He will be better and better

Is it disappointment for you? if yes what was wrong?
Horus70: No, not really. Of course I would have enjoyed losing by 3-1 rather than 6-1, but all in all I expected to get my ass kicked. I’m not sure what I could have done differently – concentrating more on defense for instance would have lowered my offensive sectors even more. In the league I rely a lot on the TS, which is not possible in the tournaments – and it makes a huge difference.

How do you think about the final?
Horus70: It is going to be a game worth watching – and I expect it to be a very close game with two very strong teams facing each other. I don’t think there is a clear favourite and the difference will be in the detail. I hope to be online next week to follow it live!
Ballinho: It will be the third final for us. but opponent is very strong. In the group out match finished 2:2. His counter attacks are very dangerous. But I hope that we will think of something that is eliminated them.
