HTUM Invade India

Week 2 of GL-Mania in India got even wilder than the first week, when III.12 golden league teams and HTUM members got new competition. Managers form same tournament and federation took the GL-Mania to a new level with the foundation of Tawang Legends and Mumbai Manglers and take the number of federation clubs in India to five. Unnamed sources say that Mighty Karak Chai FC, Ghungharu FC and Football Club Tranquebar welcome the newcomers and look forward to the challenges the two new clubs bring in the future.

Tawang Legends had the best weekend compared to Mumbai Manglers. Mumbai lost 2:1 while Tawang won 11:0 with Shirsat running wild with 4 goals and Verma scored a hattrick. Mumbai’s goal was scored by Karnam Podar. Tawang will host Mumbai in their first clash may 6th. Mumbai will host their match june 24th and both encounters might decided whom to take the top spot at the end of the season.

Ghungharu FC’s Jolad and Reddy caught the attention this week in the clubs 9:1 win against Racing Club Enclave. Two players split the goals between them with Jolad getting the best of it with his five goals performance. Reddy has to wonder how he wasn’t the one everyone was talking about after scoring four goals on this level. On the other hand it wasn’t a perfect week for Ghungharu’s Hari ‘Potter’ Naidu. A challenge sent last week toward Tranquebar’s Venkatesh Katam, to see whom of the former India U20 stars is best this season, failed big time as Katam scored one of the goals in Tranquebar’s 3:1 victory against Tanka Jaisalmer, while Naidu didn’t manage to score a goal. he didn’t made team of the week either as he was denied a spot by Katam’s teammate Hyun-Min Ko and Mighty KarakChai FC’s Sudhanshu Jha. Jha scored the last goal in his teams 5:2 win against Gunning Gunners. The established stars should pay attention to Jha’s younger teammate Jorge Serafim Nunes though. 18 years old Nunes scored a hattrick add them to the one scored last week.

To say the least. All clubs performed admirable this week and must be confident going into cup matches and sundays matches in the series. Ghungharu FC will visit Gunning Gunners while Mighty Karak Chai FC host match of the week against Football Club Tranquebar.
