Attention towards Krosnianka Karpaty Krosno

Today afternoon’s 3-1 defeat to Estrella Negra Bengaluru all but ended the Zabardusts hopes of survival in the prestigious I-League. Coach Leonard Pavel wasted no time in turning attention towards tomorrow’s HTUM Challenge Trophy final against Polish side Krosnianka Karpaty Krosno.

”It has been a disappointing season for us.- commented coach Leonard Pavel – We lost important players through injury during crucial stages of the season and that hurt us a lot. We did really well to be fighting so far with all the injuries. We still have a slight chance if we can win next week against Dinamo Shiva who have proved their quality this season and won’t be an easy opponent at all”

The coach wants to end the season on a high note and thus has set his sights on a double friendly titles.Langer House are one of those teams who sees the Golden League and HTUM Challenge Trophy as very prestigious and that can be seen through our participation in both the competitions are very regular. We have participated in every HTUM Challenge Trophy so far and we had shown a lot of promise but usually were left disappointed with the Semi-final being the best we had done”

This season Langer House has gone a step closer to HTUM Challenge Trophy and will participate in the final against Krosnianka Karpaty Krosno but is aware that getting the trophy to Wittelsbacher Klasse would require a perfect performance. ”After waiting for so long we can finally participate in the final and we don’t want to let this chance slip through. KKK has shown their class this season and their name itself can strike fear into the opponent. We don’t fear but we know we need to be at our best if we are to win this match. I am confident my boys will be a tricky opponent for KKK”

Immediately after the HTUM Challenge trophy (Season 7) final Langer House will be back in Golden League action against  Romanian side FC X-Team at Ecaterina Teodoroiu on Wednesday 10.00 HT time.

Revenge of the Noobs 3 – 1 Langer House

Late goals by Revenge of the Noobs fell Langer House to a disappointing 3-1 defeat away to RoN. A closely fought match showcasing good football was also involved some ugly challenges which left two Zabardusts needing treatment and lengthy time on the medical bench. The coach though refused to blame the players for the defeat rather blaming it on poor refereeing.

“It was a good match which I didn’t enjoy as there were some ugly incidents as well – commented coach Leonard Pavel after the final whistle- I made big mistakes this match with the orders in the second half which crippled us more than the injuries but still I am struggling to convince myself why Franquelim Resendes was not sent off for that challenge? It was a horrible horrible challenge which leaves Ibarra out for weeks and the injury to Vlasenko was another bad tackle where the referee didn’t even blow his whistle. The performance of the lads was absolutely brilliant and goals we conceded were unfortunate”

Coach then answered a few questions regarding Claudio Piazzo‘s situation in the team. “Claudio is in my plans and as I am also focusing on the Indian Cup, we need able players to compete in the cup. I can’t play all strikers in one game. There are only eleven players allowed. Is Claudio to depart? Its not in my hand”

Langer House 1 – 0 Estrella Negra Bengaluru

A magnificent strike from winger Hmed Jenayah got  Langer House their first ever victory over former Indian champions and Indian Cup winners Estrella Negra Bengaluru. The win puts Zabardusts in sixth position with two rounds played.

Coach Leonard Pavel surprised everyone by starting youngster Pandi Bhupathiraju and Aakaar Kazmi instead of star striker Claudio Piazzo and the inform Amish Gangawane. A closely fought game was won by a strike that is worthy of winning any match with Hmed Jenayah getting Langer House back to winning ways on 74th minute through a free kick which the delighted Zabardusts were still discussing while leaving the rain soaked Wittelsbacher Klasse after the match.

The coach instead reminded the squad to keep their feet on the ground as there is still a lot to be won “We were a better team today and we deserve this victory. A win over a huge club always brings excitement and raises expectations so there is a lot to play for. I am confident we can continue to fight and win matches because we need to win. The competition is very close and seems like it will go down to the last match of the season”

The coach then praised the goal from the winger that won the match “It was class. The shot was the best I have seen. Henrik Zwagerman , Joakim Fyhrlund and Pandi Bhupathiraju played a good game but the goal always makes the headlines”

Maharashtra 0 – 8 Langer House

It has been a mixed start to the season for Langer House. After a disappointing defeat in the league on Sunday to Dinamo Shiva the Zabardusts impressed in the Indian Cup beating the state of Maharashtra 8-0 to go through into the third round of the cup.

In the league Dinamo Shiva came out victorious  2-0 against Langer House after two second half goals from Andreas Færgemann and Jozo Krajnović saw them enough to make a winning start to the season. Even after a defeat coach Leonard Pavel was happy with what he saw “I think Dinamo Shiva played really well and they are a top quality side. We made them work for the victory which was good to see. It is early in the season and our midfield will take time to set because it is weaker than our rival’s midfield. So in today’s match we knew we would loose the midfield battle and thus strengthened the other parts of the team and it was good to see that we were better in defense and attack than them. It gives me confidence that we will recover quickly”

Langer House has a tough task at hand as they face former Indian champions and former cup winners Estrella Negra Bengaluru at Wittelsbacher Klasse.

Indian Cup:

In the cup Langer House met Maharashtra and it was all about braces from Indian players as club captain Tamonash KapoorVenkat VariarChinnamuthu Ariyapadi and Aakaar Kazmi all found the net twice to put Langer House thought to third round of the cup.

Dinesa leaves Langer House as new coach arrives

Preparations for the new season were underway long back with various changes that were announced by Langer House and now there are some more big changes as Zabardusts like all other Indian clubs continue their preparations for the new season which starts tomorrow with the Indian Cup kick-off.

One of the sad news/change is the departure of Langer House legend Dinesa Satyanaraina to French club Soline28. Dinesa Satynaraina who is the record holder for Langer House as the most appearances made with 143 matches scoring 42 goals. Dinesa had been a part of Langer House since its formation. Some fans might know the story of a former Langer House player and now a director Yaduvir Singh saw Dinesa playing in his school and invited him to join the new Langer House project. Thus becoming a part of the proud Langer House success getting a taste of I-League football was his dream which he accomplished this season. Dinesa had left the club about 3 weeks ago and everyone at Langer House wishes him best of luck for the future.

The other obvious change is the coaching position at Langer House. Frederik Michaelsen left at the end of last season thus the Langer House BoD’s had the task of recruiting a high quality coach similar to the standard of Fred. It is Leonard Pavel who will guide Langer House from now on. Pavel is a young coach from Romania at just 32 years of age is seemed as the best candidate to replace Frederik Michaelsen.

Langer House stays in I-League

Langer House defeated Warangal FC  in a derby relagation/promotion play-off to stay up competing in India’s top division  I-League. Zabardust debutant Gandolf Besenkamp scored the all important goal already proving to be an important member of the team. This was also the last match of Langer House coach Frederik Michaelsen who will be leaving at the end of the season.

”I am really happy with our season. We struggled and were in the drop zone for most part of the season but in the end we managed to stay up and that’s what’s important. Today we did one of our best performance of the season and what a time to show such a performance. It was a derby match and thus the lads were really motivated because we don’t get to play many derby’s.’‘ said coach Frederik Michaelsen.

The coach won’t be a Langer House employ from next week after Season 37 ends on Sunday. ”I am sad to leave but it was a mutual decision to part ways. I have different plans for the future and will let you know later about that. I think I have had an amazing career and thanks to Langer House I have had a good coaching experience. I wish Langer House the best for the future and their upcoming new coach a very good luck.”

President Azeem was delighted with the results this season and praised the players and thanked the fans and the departing coach ”We wanted to avoid relegation and that’s what we did. It was a difficult season for us and everyone thought we were the one going down but the lads thought differently and had confidence in themselves and their abilities and had trust in their coach. Fred will be leaving us and we will miss him and hope we will find a capable replacement in place of him. He came into the team three seasons ago when we were in serie III and won us back to back promotions on way to I-League and then avoided relegation to confirm we compete in I-League. He is an exceptional coach and we thank him for his services. I would also like to thank the fans for their continued support when we were in a difficult situation and I am sure the Zabardust will do their best to finish higher on the table next season.”

Langer House will play a farewell game for their coach Frederik Michaelsen on Wednesday against Klaukkala Bears at Wittelsbacher Klasse. It will be the final game of Golden League 2.
