Was it a miracle or was it robbery? MS Odense got one of their finest results ever this afternoon as they got 1 point at Killing Fields of Dolph against FC Bird Is The Word. “We are extremely happy with the result today” Peter Ivarsson told the press after the match. “We had some chances to score, myself include, but we did not have that much luck today”.

The Bird was a far better team than MS Odense with 200 – 139 in Hatstats and one must say that lady luck shined on the visitors today. “Yes they should have won but I think Ivarsson played a great today and when he does that we are almost unstoppable” Coach Kotakis said after the match and continued “I have to say that our youngsters played at their best today and they did a fine job closing The Birds midfield down all though they where over matched on paper”.

Jannick Laudrup made his debut as a senior player for the club and he was almost ecstatic after the match. “This is wild and I’m very happy that I got a contract with the club because I think we are on the move to something great in the future”. The seventeen year old player got a place on the midfield, an unusual spot for him. “Yes it was a bit strange to play there but the coach has told me that it is only a matter of time before he will chance my position again. The only thing that matters to me is to play and I will play wherever he was me to”.

MS Odense will play Buffon Garlic Gang next weekend and a victory could sendt the underdogs into the second round of the prestigious cup.

In front of 34756 spectators at Sykurven, MS Odense got a hell of a beating when Inocentas Kindaravičius had a golden moment in his career and scored a hattrick. The visitors had no chance of making an upset with Kim Kristensen out of the squad do to an injury and it was obvious that MS Odense was struggling without the moral leader on the pitch.

In hope of a lucky punch and a strong center defense. MS Odense played a 4-4-2 with an all open right side to make a powerful left side alongside the strong defensive center players. Coach Yannis Kotakis had seen the defeat coming and went for a pic/ca in the believe of making a last comeback next Sunday. MSO got their chances as Papon failed to score on several occasions after some fine counterattack play by the guests but Stage did and excellent job of keeping the ball out of the goal.

“This is a tough defeat to handle” was the first words from a disappointed Coach after the match. “Some might say that we had it coming with our way of tactics today but I believe that we made the only possible with getting some points in mind. The game went in another direction and we got a lesson in great football today and I think they deserved to win”.

MS Odense is now trailing 4 points behind Union America and the chance of the championship is beginning to fade away. Only a victory next Sunday and with some help from Tante-Holdet later on can get us back in the battle for the championship and we need a miracle to make that happen.
