Was it a miracle or was it robbery? MS Odense got one of their finest results ever this afternoon as they got 1 point at Killing Fields of Dolph against FC Bird Is The Word. “We are extremely happy with the result today” Peter Ivarsson told the press after the match. “We had some chances to score, myself include, but we did not have that much luck today”.
The Bird was a far better team than MS Odense with 200 – 139 in Hatstats and one must say that lady luck shined on the visitors today. “Yes they should have won but I think Ivarsson played a great today and when he does that we are almost unstoppable” Coach Kotakis said after the match and continued “I have to say that our youngsters played at their best today and they did a fine job closing The Birds midfield down all though they where over matched on paper”.
Jannick Laudrup made his debut as a senior player for the club and he was almost ecstatic after the match. “This is wild and I’m very happy that I got a contract with the club because I think we are on the move to something great in the future”. The seventeen year old player got a place on the midfield, an unusual spot for him. “Yes it was a bit strange to play there but the coach has told me that it is only a matter of time before he will chance my position again. The only thing that matters to me is to play and I will play wherever he was me to”.
MS Odense will play Buffon Garlic Gang next weekend and a victory could sendt the underdogs into the second round of the prestigious cup.
