The presidents, the manger and a lot of Odense coaches has stated that MS Odense would be stronger and stronger, only to find MS Odense in yet another reconstruction of the team. Those days are over and the present Odense coach Ivo Vacatko has no trouble explaining why other Golden League managers should take him very serious as he sends a warning to the future Golden League opponents of MS Odense.
“I’m very pleased with this win.You have to remember that we are still a team for the future and we are no way near the top of the mountain yet. MS Odense will soon be stronger than ever” stated a very determent Vacatko. “If you look at our game here at Raszkow Arena tonight. We almost show the strength than we had in the Baggio era, but the squad is far younger today and there is so much potential in these young guys. My prediction is, that you will see the strongest MS Odense lineup ever more than once in season 52”. Words that might be hard to believe as this isn’t the first time words like this has come from a coach of MS Odense. Vacatko also has a good answer to doubters his words.
“You can say that we have been in a long term process, where we also have learned a lot and found the right structure for our club. The Box2Box program by Scavo and the homegrown project started by our distinguished president, Mr. Aldopaolo Peroni. The structure of the club is close to perfection at this stage. Our economic situation is perfect with primary low weekly wages. We will soon be ready to take MSO to the next level and i know the board is working on various scenarios, on who to make the club ready to take the step and make it happen. I’m sure that the board will reveal something about all this when they have some news for you” said coach Vacatko.
Ørbæk: “Tobiasz played a great game”.
MS Odense captain, Kasper Ørbæk was in a good mood after the 2-0 win at Raszkow Arena and he spoke highly about both his teammates and the opponents. “We always play good games here and today was no exception. Even though our attacking strategy fell, we played a pretty good match today. taking into consideration that it wasn’t our strongest lineup, we did well. The signing of Allahverdiyev has been very good for us as a team. Michael Pettersson has also developed into a great defender and he keep getting better week by week. I also think that Kenneth and i have found each other again after playing elsewhere for many seasons. Finally we now has 4 strikers to make various combination, when we play different opponents and Johannes Skals Jensen can be upfront to if we need a powerful man and as you could see today, Alfred can play on the wing if needed. But we also have a lot of young players who has to learn some more before they are ready to carry the team. They do great in every game because when they fail, we tell them to get back up and fight and keep learning. By the way i noticed that Raszkow have a team that does the same. Look at Tobiasz Kosmalski. He might have been passed twice today, but he kept on fighting and made it difficult for us many time today. He was the reason that we did score more today” said the captain of MSO.
Next up for MSO is the League games against DallerUnited on Sunday. Monday evening MSO play the quarterfinal match in the Hans Christian Andersen Cup against Bleikens Helte. While next weeks Golden League opponent will be Horus Falcons.
