Another new season has started with a win for Polomint in the first round of the Scottish Cup. They beat Highlands team HU2, managed by Swedish manager TekumD, 9-0 away from home. It was a good start and serious league business begins on Saturday against Edinburgh team Calton Hill. It has been a win apiece in the two meetings of these clubs so far but Rustyjack feels Polomint are the stronger at the moment. Nevertheless he will be taking no chances on Saturday and will be fielding a strong team. “It will be a hard season and we would hope for a good start with a win in our first game”, said Rustyjack at the training ground this morning while going through a few routines with the players.
