Top Dog In Poland

The Head to Head statistics show 8 wins to Wodkas’ 2 for Krosnianka, but it’s clear to all at today’s 2-0 win at the Stadium Arcadium that The Flaming Wodkas FC are not top dog as opposed to the team from Krosno.

“We’ve waited a long time for the chance to play KKK in the league, and after nearly 8 years we got the chance and beat them in their own backyard. It was very satisfying,” said club President and original Wodkas’ player Tato Kiknavelidze.

It was back in October of 2011 when the two teams first met, with Wodkas’ then going under the name of Renaissance FC. Krosno won 5-0 at home, with a combined hatstats of 151. Today, they came with 147 compared to the Wodkas’ 276 (thanks mostly to a defence of 193) and met their match, despite having 4 good chances on goal themselves.

For the Wodkas’ fans though, this was one long in the waiting and one long in the savouring.
