Team First For Abramo Pedull

Despite being known for his predatory goal scoring instincts, Eagles striker Abramo Pedulli insists that the overall team performance is more important than his desire to hit the back of the net.

The Italian striker, who joined the Eagles from FC Kijevo last month, opened his scoring account for the season with two neat finishes during Supastrikas 5-2 win over Usen316fc on Sunday.

An impressive feat for a player making his first start of the campaign – after missing the preceeding four weeks ofaction with Injuries. Although, Pedulli admits the feeling of satisfaction supplied by winning is far greater than that of scoring.

“Scoring goals gives you confidence,” Pedulli told SSTV. “But like I said, the most important thing for me was to play 90 minutes and to win. For almost one month I was out, so my goal is to keep working for the team and to help the team get the win.”

Supastrikas produced an impressive performance against usen316’s Greater Lagos rivals, who for the majority of the match, struggled to cope with the fluidity and movement of a Eagles team high on confidence. Pedulli, however, was keen to express how tough the task at hand was.

“It was not easy. It was a very difficult game. Everybody knows about the emirate stadium and the usen316fc team, and it is very difficult. Thankfully we played very well. We managed to score a lot of goals and we created a lot of chances.

“We scored a goal really early and that helped us to manage the game in a different way. When you score the other team needs to get one back and you can start to take control.”

Supastrikas Heading For Nigerian League Cup Final

Eagle’s Suffers Major Setback For League Title Hopes

Supastrikas FC Suffered A Major Setback In Their Quest For League Title Glory This Season As They Lost Away To NoGoals Team By 2 – 0, Its Was A Very Bad Day For The Eagles As They Enjoyed Most Of The Possession By 70% – 30% And Had Several Chances To Score But Could Not Find A Perfect Finishing To All Their Countless Attempts On Goal.
Supastrikas's Hopes Of Winning The League Title As Been Limited By The Lost And As Dropped To 2nd Place Behind Fellow League Favorite The Sapa Inca Who Move To The Top Of The League Table With An Impressive Away 0 – 4 Win Over Heartland FC, Who Would Be Facing The Eagle Next Sunday. Sapa Inca Are Now 3Point Clear Of Supastrikas Fc.
