Pirotti Wins Golden Boot

Luigi Pirotti wins the Golden Boot award for Division V.26!

UK2USA forward Luigi Pirotti finished the season as joint top scorer for the division. The Italian shared the award with Dirigible’s Jo Vandenhole who also finished the season with 15 league goals.

Pirotti becomes the first trainee in UK2USA history to recieve the award of club top scorer, second place went to Alessandro Ciano with 11 goals for the season.


Pirotti In-line For Golden Boot

Luigi Pirotti is leading the chase for the golden boot!

With one game left in the season, UK2USA forward Luigi Pirotti is leading the chase to become the division’s top goal scorer.

The Italian is sitting atop the table with 14 goals, snapping at his heels are Dirigible’s forward Jo Vandenhole on 13 and Habana Klub’s forward Joachim Bjorke on 12.

Pirotti is sure to finish the season as UK2USA’s top goal scorer,  his closest rival is Alessandro Ciano who is currently on 10 goals for the season.


Carlton Injured

Darren Carlton picks up serious injury!

Bad news from the treatment room today as it was confirmed that midfielder Darren Carlton has picked up a serious knee injury during todays match against Canton Oaks.

It is believed that the Welshman will be unavilable for at least the rest of the season and maybe several games into the new season.


Revealed: New Coach For Next Season

Munoz to become new head coach!

The board have decided to appoint UK2USA forward and club all time top scorer, Daniel Munoz, as the new head coach of the club. 

This move follows the upcoming retirement of curent head coach, Roger Rougier, who has been in charge of the club’s training programme since december 2009.

Munoz will take over full duties from the start of next season.

The club would like to take this opportunity to thank Roger Rougier for all the hard work  he has put into the club over the years…some of his most notable training successses include defenders Enzo Paolo Buonocore, David Lonstrup and Wojciech Normantowicz.


Youth Players Sold

Grayson and Byers move to new clubs!

It was confirmed today that youth player Rickey Grayson was sold to polish side Rakarze.  The young defender was transfered for an undisclosed “six figure fee”.  Manager king_djoser expressed disppointment that there wasn’t a place in his squad for the promising young player.

Grayson is the second youth player to leave this month following the sale of striker Tommie Byers to swiss side wodka_united.

Everybody at UK2USA wishes the two youngsters all the best in their future careers.


Team Of The Week

Pardo, Odemira and Evaristo make team of the week!

Victorino Pardo, Henrique Odemira and Gabriel Evaristo made the Division 5.26 team of the week after their fanstatic showing in UK2USA’s victory over Crazy Okies.

Odemira was the undoubted star of the show… the defender netted a hattrick and played no small part in preserving the clean sheet.


Players Return From Suspension

Rodriguez and Ciano available for upcoming fixtures!

Manuel Rodriguez and Alessandro Ciano are now available for selection after serving their 1 match bans for accumilated yellow cards.

Both are expected to feature in the midweek international friendly with Guerreiros dos Tempos and in the crucial league match aginst Freehold FC.
