Bayern Munich have reportedly decided not to improve their contract offer to Joshua Kimmich.
Bayern Munich’s contract negotiations with Joshua Kimmich remain at a standstill, with no progress reported, according to AZ. However, the Munich-based outlet has now provided another key update on the situation.
During a supervisory board meeting on Monday, the club decided against presenting Kimmich with an improved contract offer. Instead, the German international has been urged to make a swift decision on whether he will accept Bayern’s final proposal.
If the 30-year-old midfielder declines the offer, he will be free to leave the club next summer when his contract expires, potentially on a free transfer.
Kimmich, who joined Bayern in 2015, has been a key figure for the club, amassing 426 appearances, scoring 43 goals, and providing 114 assists throughout his tenure.
