Barcelona fans point finger of blame at one individual after collapse vs Atlético

Barcelona supporters voiced their frustration with head coach Hansi Flick on Tuesday evening, following what they believe to be costly decision-making in the club’s showdown with Atlético Madrid.

The Catalan giants had just taken part in one of the most thrilling encounters of the Spanish football season, playing host to Atlético in the first leg of their Copa del Rey semi-final. The match delivered a breathtaking spectacle, culminating in a dramatic 4-4 draw.

However, despite the exhilarating nature of the contest, it was the visitors who left the happier side. Barcelona had held a commanding two-goal lead late in the game, only to squander their advantage and allow Atlético to claw their way back when the Rojiblancos appeared all but defeated.

In the aftermath, much of the blame has been laid squarely at the feet of Hansi Flick. Fans have taken particular issue with his late substitutions, especially the decision to withdraw Pedri, which they argue cost Barcelona a crucial victory. In response, the Blaugrana faithful have not hesitated to make their displeasure known, directing their ire firmly at their team’s head coach.
